A native of Greenville, South Carolina, Wes Whittle moved to the Charleston area in 2000 and shortly after, founded Eastech with his wife Amy. Wes’s background in construction dates back to 1998, when he assumed the role of an electrical apprentice. Wes quickly moved up the industry ladder, and by age 20, he was the project manager for a national builder in both the Greenville and Charleston markets. Before starting Eastech, Wes also partnered in a rapidly-growing franchise that supplied warranty management services to local builders in the Charleston, Charlotte and Raleigh markets.
Wes and his family, which includes his wife Amy, his two boys Evan and Chase, and their dog Hurricane, currently reside in Mount Pleasant. They are very active in the local schools and recreation departments, and Wes and Amy spend much of their free time at the boys’ baseball practices and games.
Besides being a licensed builder and home inspector, he is also a self-proclaimed “action junky.” Wes enjoys hunting, fishing, and nearly all sports, including drag racing where he holds a competitive license. He is also a certified law enforcement officer, working approximately 400 hours per year for local law enforcement.
